Just like to apologize for the downtime/ site offline over the past 3 to 4 days,
This was out of my control, apparently my hosts decided to upgrade there servers and moved the site from one server to another, and forgot to re-enable me… and had messed around with some of my file permissions..
I contacted them over the past few days, got 1 reply.. saying will be fixed soon.. which they didn’t
So i decided to do it myself and went through all the permissions and found the files and fixed them, so we are now back in business
I’m just about to go through some of my tunes and i will be doing an update over the next day or two, so more music coming your way..
Also this will probably be the only update i will do for the next few weeks, as I am just about to move house (Saturday) so I will not have a home net connection to do more updates for a week or two.. as my net connection gets disconnected with the phone line on Friday, moving house is pretty stressful and then all the unpacking.. really looking forward to that LOL

I was just informed in the cbox that Derek B had passed away, So I decided to check it out on Google and it was true..
He had passed away of a heart attack.. he was only 44
Back in the late 80’s, I played his “Bullet From A Gun” Album over and over on my decks and Walkman and like many other bedroom Dj’s emulated the Transformer scratch from “Bad Young Brother” to a tee, I had it down to an fine art form.
He opened the door for UK rap artists and appeared on mainstream tv, and had top 20 hits in the uk, In my eyes he never got the credit he deserved back then,( But does now) as a lot of harder acts dissed his style, but I was always a fan and will continue to be. may his music live long in our hearts, you will be sadly missed by many old schoolers and b-boys and DJ’s
R.I.P. Derek B (Derek Boland) aka EZQ – a true bad young brother (15 January 1965 – 15 November 2009)
